To those who already know what the MakeWish test was, it was a little reminder window that would come up at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm everyday.
It did nothing more than that. There was no spam, no pop-up ads, no spyware, no reporting, etc.
Nothing more than those three times a day reminder windows.
It asked you to make a wish or think positively about John Kerry winning. Well we all know how well that turned out.
But I am thinking of re-launching that software for personal use. A lot of us feel better when others wish us well in our endeavours, goals, etc. So I thought I would do this:
Re-launch the software, and three times a day, the reminder window would come up with a wish request for someone out there. And those requests comes from you! At the end of each week you will get a report that says how many times your wish came up on people's screens, and how many people actually saw it!
Submit your wish, in one paragraph, along with a picture if you like. When I get enough wish requests to rotate around, then a new version will be launched.
Let's see what happens when others in the world are thinking about you and your wish!
There is no charge, not about money, etc. The software is already done, so it's just a matter of retooling it for this use.
The conditions are as follows:
- Send your wish and photo to
wish@warptv.com
Make sure the subject line says MakeWish Request
Make sure I have your real e-mail address as I will confirm that before publishing your wish.
No nudity, nor requests on the negative side, etc. I have final say on accepting or denying wish requests.
I will not use last names, first names only.
You accept full responsibility in that any pictures you send to me are yours, and you have the right to have them put out there on the Internet.
I will keep all submitted info private.
I will only launch the software when I have enough wish requests to rotate.
You must include in the text of your e-mail the following words: I agree to all the conditions on the web page.
That's it folks, don't wait, get me your wishes and spread the word! I want to launch this ASAP!
